Wish Day at Letchworth Golf Club

Our lovely resident Diana has many happy memories of playing golf and the ladies' lunches that followed. As a special treat for her birthday, we arranged a surprise meet-up with some of her old golfing friends. Diana was blown away by the chorus of ‘Happy Birthday Diana’ as we walked into the Club restaurant. 

Memories were shared with a morning of excited chatter and laughter.  

Diana was the Senior Ladies Captain for many years and her reputation proceeded her as many staff came over to say hello, as they had heard so much about her since her time at Letchworth Golf Club.

We were so pleased with how the day turned out and Diana was thrilled with her birthday surprise.

We have been ticking off more wishes for our Wish Day initiative and look forward to granting many more for our residents over the Autumn months.  All activities organised by the White House activity team take into account each individual ability and are tailored to our residents' personal hobbies and interests.
