Palliative Care

At our Care care home in North Hertfordshire, we have created a palliative care service to support the residents and their loved ones receiving this specialist care during this time.

Our team of care professionals work tirelessly to ensure that everyone in the White House Care Home is supported and residents receiving palliative care at our home are as comfortable as possible.

What is Palliative Care?

Palliative care is also referred to as end-of-life care and is a care service for those who have either a terminal illness or are in the final part of their lives from natural deterioration.

We aim to create a comfortable atmosphere for those living at our care home, especially when receiving palliative care. Our carers support our residents while making sure that their dignity is maintained and their wishes are fulfilled.

Furthermore, we know it is also a difficult time for the friends and family of the individual receiving palliative care, so we make sure that they also receive emotional support while spending time with their loved ones.
