Nursing Care

Nursing care is a type of specialist care provided by a team of nurses to those who require 24-hour personal care and medical care. Nursing care will better the lives of individuals with physical disabilities, high dependency needs and long-term health conditions, as well as those in need of palliative care.

We have a team of dedicated nurses and advanced nursing equipment to ensure our residents receive the best level of care possible. Every resident will be allocated a nurse who will take the time to learn everything there is about an individual as well as provide support to family members.

Dementia Care

We provide 24/7 dementia care at our care home in Letchworth. Our staff have been highly trained to provide person-centred care for those living with dementia. Dementia is a neurological condition that commonly affects a person’s ability to think critically, remember recent events or rationalise like they once used to. As the condition progresses differently in everyone, we understand that some people with dementia may need minimal support while others may be significantly more.

Our team will get to know residents to the best of their ability to fully understand their needs, abilities and interests, to ensure everyone is happy. We are proud to offer a range of activities and alternative therapies, designed to help individuals feel safe and relaxed in their environment, from reminiscence to music therapy and sensory activities.

Respite Care

Respite care is a type of care provided for those in need of short-term care. Respite care provides carers who are caring for their loved ones with a well-needed break while a professional care team takes care of everything. It is also offered to those who have recently had an illness or operation which provides someone with a place to fully relax and recover.

Respite care can also be provided to prospective residents looking to move into a care home. An individual can trial our care home for a few weeks before they decide whether the home is right for them. No matter how long someone needs temporary care, our team will go out of their way to ensure everyone is happy throughout their stay.
