What is Nursing Care?

Nursing care is a more advanced type of care provided to those who need medical care and support across a 24 hour period. Nursing care is suitable for those with physical disabilities, high dependency needs or people living with long-term health conditions or illnesses. It is also suitable for those in need of palliative care.

A nursing home will have a qualified team of general nurses and high-tech nursing equipment to ensure residents are as comfortable as possible during their stay. Alongside giving high-quality care and assistance to residents, staff will also support the overall well-being of a resident, taking into account their interests and preferences in order to exceed expectations.

Our home will feature only the best modern nursing equipment and up-to-date processes to ensure the care being received is effective and of a high standard.

We are proud to offer a team of compassionate individuals whose role is to provide person-centred care for those with long-term health conditions such as Parkinsons as well as those living with mental or physical disabilities. Dementia Care

We provide specialist dementia care at our care home. The team is trained to the highest levels to look after those with the condition. As each individual is different, we understand that some people with dementia may need a little support whereas others may need significantly more so it’s important each person receives the right care.

Our team will get to know residents as best they can in order to fully understand their needs, abilities and interests, which in turn will allow our team to provide compassionate, person-centred dementia care in a safe and supportive environment.

Respite Care

Respite care is short-term care provides by a professional care team that allows carers to be relieved of their care duties for a duration of time. This type of care is suitable for those who have recently had an illness or operation where they need somewhere to fully recover.

It can also be used as a way of trialling a care home, where prospective residents can stay at a care home for a few weeks to see first-hand if it’s right for them. No matter how long someone needs temporary care and support for, we will go above and beyond to ensure their stay is an enjoyable one.
